Gore to Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Ex-Vice President Al Gore is scheduled to host NBC's "Saturday Night Live" next month, the comedy show announced on its Web site this weekend.

"Robert DeNiro and former Vice President Al Gore are slated to host December episodes of 'Saturday Night Live,'" according to a report by Saturday-Night-Live.com's Sean Bradley.

An accompanying SNL schedule shows Gore slated to appear December 14.

The broadcast would likely give Gore his largest TV audience since he conceeded the presidential election exactly two years to the day from that date.

Gore watchers have said that he'll make up his mind on whether he'll challenge President Bush for a rematch shortly after next week's election.

53 percent of Democrats surveyed for a recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll said they do not want him to run again, with only 35 percent backing another try.

Gore is a complete joke, so its only fitting that he host a "comedy" show, even though SNL hasn't been funny in years. The left wing bigshots at NBC will do anything to try and humanize the human tree stump, but it still wont win him the presidency.

"Gore to Host 'Saturday Night Live'"

Now this is a good idea. Maybe Gore could have a future in comedy.

No, don't tell me - he'll start off with, "I'm Al Gore and I used to be the next president of the United States." Ho ho ho, oh my sides.

Al Gore already has a comedy script written:

It's called: Earth in the Balance

What a pathetic bunch of losers. This is why I never watch this "comedy" show anymore- it's just not funny.

Well let us see first there was John McCain who could not beat George W. Bush, now it is Al Gore who could not beat George W. Bush. Interesting trend? lol.
Actually, didn't Bob Dole use to be on Jon Stewart's show on Comedy Central. I guess if you lose a race you go to comedy lol. Anyway, I hope they do a Frankenstein sketch. Al Gore is the perfect Igore.

53 percent of Democrats surveyed...said they do not want him to run again...

I realize that was a fairly reputable poll, however, judging from the postings at the Dumbocrat Under(6 feet of)ground and Bartcrap forums, they absolutely go into orgasmic tizzies at the mere mention of him.

Most of the 'rats on those forums feel Algore is the only hope they have for '04.

Of course, the idiots on those forums also go into orgasmic tizzies over the mention of the 'toon, who they all fervently wish could run again, they swoon at the sight of the hildebeest, and still worship some old bat named Julie Hiatt Steele.

I guess the only "poll" findings one can extract from all that is that they go for the has-beens.

No new ideas.

Hope he doesn't cry about the 2000 Election like he did in Maryland this past week. If he does, he'll have a sympathetic audience. Al, don't forget your kleenex!

Gore and Clinton made complete asses of themselves at Wellstones "memorial". And by the way, have you seen Clinton campaigning lately for democratic races throughout the country? Clinton spends most of the time on the front of the stage soaking up and waving to all the people, while the candidate looks helplessly on in the background!!(hint: McBride in Florida) Typical Clinton!!!

This Gore's latest attepmt to come off as warm and likeable. Sorry Albore, it hasn't worked in any of your numerous tries in the past, and those lame SNL writers couldn't joke their way out of a wet paper bag. I won't be able to resist watching the train wreck, though.

The guy's always made me laugh.

Agreed! The Goreon reminds me of a more reserved Mr. Garrison, the closeted Gay school teacher on South Park.

Besides, one of the funnier SNLs of the 80s was when George McGovern hosted. They had a camera following McGovern aroung New York asking people "do you know who I am?" Only one out of eight people knew!

First it was John McCain, now AlGore. Hey, that's two thirds of the 3 Stooges. Daschle would make the third. They wouldn't even have to talk. Just stand there and savor the laughter!!!
