I wasn't nervous, but now I am. Reports saying NC is *|* close! That is actually good, because they seem to giving NC to the Democrats.
I cannot believe that Ark. will vote Democratic Senator but keep a Republican Gov.
We may find out who actually won these races in a week or so!
Welcome to the high-tech 21st Century!

It's simple: Do NOT post vanities!
If you take the time to write a decent commentary that adds value and advances the discussion then by all means, please post it as a new article. But if you post a rant or a bash as a new article, do not be surprised if I remove it. Continue bashing and ranting, do not be surprised if you become labeled a disruptor and you lose your posting privilege. If you want to post a rant or a short one or two line comment why not post it as a reply to an existing article on that subject? Why start a new title and a new thread for every opinion that pops into your head? It only wastes our time and resources. Otherwise, you can post just about anything you want about any issue or candidate you choose as long as you stay within our simple guidelines of topic and decency.

Thanks for the ping and I'll be back later. Even though I know the polls are reassuring, I am on pins and needles waiting to see if Cornyn will be our next Senator from Texas. McAwful said he thinks Kirk will upset Cornyn. Please, please God don't let it be Kirk -- the shame of it all!

From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram: FORT WORTH - Tarrant County elections workers will be counting ballots through the night to tabulate votes after officials found a programming error that failed to detect straight party votes. Final tallies could be completed by early morning Wednesday, said Robert Parten, Tarrant County's elections administrator.
County election officials checking voting machines early Tuesday morning found that a programming error was causing ballots cast for a straight party ticket to not register votes for the candidates of that party, Parten said.
After confirming that the problem existed in voting machines at another precinct, Parten decided to count all of the county ballots in one location and has made plans to bring them from the precincts to a downtown election office at 600 W. Weatherford Street.
"There is more control at a central counting location than at the precincts," Parten said. "It's exactly the same procedure as a recount."
Full election results may not be available until about 7 p.m. Wednesday, he said,
A total of 360,000 votes were expected to be cast in Tarrant County, Parten said.

(Reuters) - The first polls began to close on Tuesday [snip]
Voting ended in parts of Indiana and Kentucky, where several key House races will be decided, but no results were available. Television networks were expected to go slow on projections as the nation's largest exit polling service announced their results were unreliable. [snip]

It's going to be a long night tonight. I think I feel a "sick day" coming on for tomorrow!
Thanks for the Ping, Howlin.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
I got a call from the Forrester campaign at 3:47pm, The call stated that the exit polls the campaign was running showed a dead heat state wide as of 3pm EST. Stressed the importance of getting out the vote.
Hopefully NJ, will defy the "experts" and be up for grabs this evening.
One factor may be th fact that the Louse didn't pour in "street money" to buy votes the way the Gore and Corzine did.
