A faulty computer program originally added several thousand votes to the Dem's totals that he had not actually received. It sounds to me like a Democrat's attempt to steal votes was thwarted. The Democrat challenger may just have his t*ts in a wringer just to make noise as a distracting tactic: That is, show so much outrage to deflect any suspicion on himself.

"Seigheilman"
heh heh
To: Southack
but lets not start tossing around terms like "SeigHeilMan" against Alabama's first Jewish governor. That's a bit much even for me, and I despise the man. I coined the term SeigeilMan and I stand by it. Jewish - smewish. The guy is a liar and propagandist of the worst sort and thinks he is entitled to be governor because it was close. He's another Goron.
To: plain talk
I agree...we use the terms "FemiNazi" (Rush came up with that one) and "Hitlery" all the time here on FR and I don't hear anyone complaining about those.

[Seigelman attorney Joe Espy accused the attorney general of ignoring state regulations that provide for a recount. "On behalf of Bob Riley, the Republican attorney general today changed the law," Espy said. ]
Another legacy from the Clinton era: It's not the accuracy of the facts that matter, but the seriousness of the charge. Dims = Lying Bastards.

I didn't know Siegelman's wife was jewish when I coined the phrase. I was going to develop a SeigHeilMan sign but won't now. Heaven forbid I certainly don't want to offend anyone. :-)

Siegelman campaign spokesman Rip Andrews said: "The bottom line is it's a Republican conspiracy at its worst."
Yeah, that damnyankee Abe Lincoln met with Carl Rove and they stole the election.

Yes, Siegelman sounds like someone who didn't learn anything from the Florida recount! And who knows what shenanigans went on in other states to jack up the vote in Democratic strongholds?
Somebody was saying on a radio show the other day they found out their wife (a Democrat) was registered to vote under three DIFFERENT names (so she gets three votes?).
When the Dems say "vote often" they mean it!
To: plain talk
I suspect that people have been calling him "Seigheilman" for a long time, which might be why he pronounces his last name "Siggleman".

If this Rat goes to Court, it will be the 5th time in 2 years the democrats have taken our election laws to court. I want it broadcast far and wide each and EVERY time they do this. It's important Americans should know how they are trying to subvert our laws.

It seems to me that either Seigelman is either a statist enough that a nickname inferring he is a Nazi is legit or it is not. I have not followed him closely enough to give exmaples but certainly many and maybe most Democrats are.
If he is a statist, then I do not see how he gets an exemption because of religion. We know the modern Democrat statists tells the big lie of the Nazi, scapegoats as the Nazi's did etc. Of course we would not expect Seigelman to scapegoat a group he was a member of, more likely the Democrats would pick white males driving, white vans or SUVs with ladder racks on them.
It is not like one should not have called Hitler a racist because it might have offended his relatives. The issue would have been was he a racist, which it is pretty clear he was.

Pathetic but true story, I work as a systems analyst for my cities utilities company. The day of the election, I got into a discussion with one of our laborers over the candidates. Since he is a relatively low paid, high school educated, tax paying black man, I was interested in hearing why he was so pro-Democratic party. During our conversation, he stated as fact that Abe Lincoln was a democrat. It wasn't until I pulled up Lincoln's biography from the White House site did he admit to his error. At that point he told me a teacher told him Lincoln was a democrat.

"During our conversation, he stated as fact that Abe Lincoln was a democrat. It wasn't until I pulled up Lincoln's biography from the White House site did he admit to his error. At that point he told me a teacher told him Lincoln was a democrat." I have experienced that same thing, with the exception that I've even been told by at least one man that George Wallace and Bull Conner were Republicans.
It goes back to mhking/rdb3's point regarding "message", and it is very true that we are seeing Orwellian historical revisionism that is intended to deliberately keep our society either uneducated or miseducated.

Yes, the "division" is deliberate (and if my opponents think that division is good for them, then I've got to seriously consider that it is bad... and it IS bad, it can't help but be bad, and this division needs to be broken down with malice).

Guess it's not much different from times we are told Jesse Helms and/or Strom Thermond were members of the KKK.
