Is she admitting that they considered actual confrontation? Is she admitting that they do, in fact, repeatedly play the race card in order to "win?" It appears to me that by using the words "have real unrest," she's practically admitting that is what it would have taken for him to win.

And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically.

Am I reading THIS wrong, or is she saying that Al could/would have won if they had incited a riot and "real unrest" -- and that they, the Dems, actually considered that as an option? That was one of their choices?
