It would be nice if that were the case, but it isn't. I knew two men who were gay, underwent sex change operations, and in not too much time began dating women. Can't figure out if that makes them lesbians or not. (They were not friends so their experiences were unrelated.)

The reason they gave is that the men they dated treated them so poorly once they became women that they'd rather date women. Go figure.
