This group does understand that the show will entail some of the most gorgeous women in the world wearing next to nothing, right?

That in and of itself says to me, "Love and Happiness". Where's the protest?

The issue is, should this be on Network TV at 9pm across the country AND advertised on television programs that have a pre-teen/teenage demographic?

The pre-teens won't be interested.

The teens will see more at the local swimming pool.

Two women's groups and a media watchdog organization on Tuesday asked CBS not to air the Victoria's Secret fashion show, calling it a "soft-core porn infomercial."

And these are the good-looking members...

I think CBS is okay for airing this. It used to be shown on the E channel all the time. When will CBS and other networks show hot young male top supermodels like Marcus Schenkenberg, Travis Fimmel, lean Calvin Klein models, boxers and briefs show. A show that features bare buns, and shows off their lower regions assets or lack thereof. Or maybe use celebrities like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and for the younger crowd N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys etc. They should show it on another channel during the Superbowl so women can salivate on another tv set.

Or networks should make a show instead of the Man Show called the Woman show and it would attract a lot female talk show and soap viewers during daytime tv.

If I were in charge of a network I would show this sort of thing everyweek and the ratings would go through the roof. They should make an entire cable channel based on hot male supermodels.

And if tomorow they were told that these clothing items were now illegal because they were immodest...they'd all be in em..marching and carrying signs demanding to wear them because its their right to...a whole femanist movement would grow up around the "right to go about scantily clad "

I like Victoria's Secret and ordered a few things from there. (underwear is ok and clothes are good for trendy, casual wear, also cute mules/sandals as I like high heels) NOW is just angry because none of them couldnt fit one smelly fat toe in anything at Victoria's secret.

NOW has a way of making my red flags go up. They gripe about men and pre-teens ogling models, yet didn't utter any protest about a rapist president using an intern for his most base urges. Isn't Bubba a fine role-model for pre-teen boys?

BTW, did they gripe over the DNC fundraiser that was supposed to have been held at the Playboy mansion?

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of NOW.

From the looks of the NOW gang, they should change the name to "NOT NOW"...

The issue isn't if lingerie should be illegal. (Obviously not)

The issue is that this is going to be aired on network TV at 9pm.

OK, as someone who's done some modeling..the X position you describe in the walk is more flattering if the model's legs are slightly bowed and makes the walk "sassier".

I saw the show last year on TV as many other Freepers did. At that time, we commented and agreed the show was in extremely good taste, innovative, and full of energy. They had some wonderful gospel singers raised high above the stage singing and clapping and doing their own thing. It was one hour of enjoyable, clean, fun entertainment.

This is what we are fighting for.

Failure to support shows like this will mean the jihadis are winning.

"The issue is that this is going to be aired on network TV at 9pm."

Perhaps you would care to elaborate?

I dont allow my child to watch the local news.I allow her to see some programs I approve of, and make her change the channel or turn off the TV if there is nothing I want her to view showing. I do not have cable TV, and have about 6 channels to choose from.

I caught a few minutes of last years show.I am certain many people had an entirely different reactions, but I was proud of the KMA attitude displayed by some of the most beautifull women in the world.I kept thinking Burkha, or those women.

I am not offended by the display, which I thought tastefully done for what it was, basically a very expensive commercial.I did not feel debased.I have exactly the same "equipment" as those women, I just dont display or maintain it to those levels anymore, if I ever did.But wearing lingere in spike heels is normal, and most women in the USA do so privately with husbands or boyfriends.I dont see a problem.I am infinately more offended by veiled Islamic women in public, in the USA, and what they represent.

She looks to me like someone sliced open the chest area and jammed two softballs inside the tight skin.

Ewwwww... so sexy!
