[Schumer announces] Feds to tackle Westchester underage [teenage] drinking

WHITE PLAINS Sen. Charles Schumer today announced the U.S. Department of Justice would examine the problem of underage drinking in Westchester County.

Speaking at a news conference in White Plains, Schumer said the department's Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention would review the current array of programs in Westchester to combat teen-drinking, then make recommendations.

Teenage drinking may be a problem. Terrorism is definitely a problem.

So Chuckie, while you work on making sure Johnny doesn't have a few beers on Saturday night, President Bush will work on the terrorist problem. Good fit.

Why is teenage drinking a Federal issue instead of a State issue. Why are they spending my tax dollars in Westchester, N.Y. for this?
