Tonight the History Channel presents a special on the life and legacy of the former Hollywood star, governor and president, Ronald Reagan, who is shown here with his wife, Nancy, in a 1994 photo.

BEFORE he was 22, Ronald Reagan had pulled 77 people out of an Illinois lake where he worked as a lifeguard, preventing the drowning deaths of at least some of them.

I am in Japan but would LOVE to see this ! Would anybody that taped it dub me a copy for a fee ? I worked for the Reagan campaign out in Suffolk County , LI ...All volunteer of course . Only two times I ever voted , were for Reagan in '80 and '84 . Love and admire deeply one of our greatest Presidents . Help !

Something for all to consider.

If, I must stress 'IF', History Channel gets this right. Then it would be well worth our time to contact them and tell them so. And throw in that we'd like to see more portrayals of such great historical figures without cant and spin. Tell them that you'd watch them all religiously, etc.

If they get it wrong, tell them so and make it clear that they are losing an audience.

A little public pressure never hurts.

Thanks for posting this, I might have missed it. Got to go to the Reagan Library last week, I hope everyone gets this fabulous opportunity! Loved the "Bedtime for Brezhnev" poster, wish I could find one.

Alright thanks for Reagan reminder

I am watching that show I think it going be on this weekend too I don't know what time check out History channel listening I think it going be on this weekend perhaps Saturday or Sunday
