Yes, Loddie, the video clip was a two-kleenex job for me. God bless our troops far from home on Thanksgiving day and GOD BLESS AMERICA, land that we love!

Cruises are sooo fun. On one that I was on 30 people were invited by 15 Jamaican couples for a party (People to People program that Norwegian Cruise Lines had at that time). They met us at the ship and we went to a beautiful home in the mountains. After a wonderful dinner, they taught us to Calypso and needless to say we arrived back at the ship in time to Calypso up the gangplank just in time for the midnight buffet. What an evening!
You never know what an exciting time you will have until you are there. All of you make plans now. See you.

The cruise committee is beginning the process of notifying the winners of the early-bird registration event. Some winners have already been freepmailed.
All this will take a little time, so those already contacted, please be patient.
The prizes are a selection of Seeking the Truth's (Gene) "O Cents" terrific stamps plus a beautiful U.S. Flag Balloon jewelry pin from our fabulous freeper aeronaut, Abner (Teri).
If you're planning on joining the cruise, why not register right now? There's still a few prize "winnerships" open as a lot of the early registrants are freeper volunteers on the various FRN cruise planning committees and therefore not eligible for the prizes.
Remember, our reserved FRN block of cabins is limited. I'm tellin' ya! Right now, cabin category 8A Verandah is seeing lots of action!
Let's keep rolling for the conservative Gloat Boat victory lap ....oops, pardon moi.....the great "FReeps Ahoy" Caribbean cruise!

Freepers, if you're looking for a roomie to share cabin fare on the cruise, post your notice here. This thread has already served as a vehicle for connecting several registrants with suitable cabinmates. We obtained great rates for this cruise, and it can be even more affordable with a fellow freeper roomie!

Christmas bump for the cruise. A cruise is something to look forward to during these dark and cold days. :)

Wife: "Honey, all I want for Christmas is to go on the Freeper cruise!"
Hubby: "All I want for Christmas is to go on the Freeper cruise!"
Wife: "Problem solved for a great gift to each other!"
Pick up that phone now and make your reservations, folks. It's a gift that will keep on giving with great fun and lasting warm memories of being with our extended Freeper family.

I'm signed up. I'm looking forward to this cruise. Six days and seven nights with the little Mrs. under moonlit and sunny skys cruising the Caribbean.
There's so much to do on board. Nearly all of it is paid for in advance. Gotta love the prospects.
On top of all that, we get to experience it with some of our friends from FreeRepublic.
Here's to you Leni. Thanks so much for setting us up with a wonderful cruise. Can't wait!

Smooth Sailin' to everyone in 2003!!!

I'm just checking in for cruise news. I had a panicky moment the other day when I couldn't remember where I had hidden my passport. Found and now sewed to my upper arm. Can't wait.
