Nude icy weather jogger gives police the slip

A naked jogger has braved sub-zero temperatures to evade New York police.

It's the third time the mystery runner has been spotted in the Binghamton district over the past few days, where a small amount of snow has fallen.

He's been seen running naked around a six-storey car park.

In the most recent incident, police were called by workers in a nearby office building who spotted him.

Witnesses say the man was wearing only a red cloth on his head.

But he had vanished by the time police arrived.

If he didn't give his slip to the police, he wouldn't be naked.

Since it was so cold, there must not have been much to see.

Yeah that brings back a lyric from a song then, I think it was "Running bare, between the Bushes". Er, that kinda brings back the nineties.

Not this year, he hasn't ... It didn't get below 40F last night in NYC. I don't believe it has even been below 28F in NYC yet this Nov... In fact, I doubt it has been below 36F...

inquest: If the cops don't get him, frostbite will. And it can get him in the most unexpected places.

logic101.net: Darwin award?

He would only get the Darwin Award if it becomes non-functional, he's unlikely to die streaking even in NY in winter. Every year at the Air Force winter safety briefings I went to the speaker would remind us that the "other" on his "Frostbite injuries broken down by areas of the body" chart represented an area we would reeeeeally regret losing...

Mark,

Well, the Darwin Award is not a factor yet since this guy has not, as far as I know, assumed room temperature. But he definitely sounds like a liberal.... And, thanks for the link to your site.
