How come none of these articles have Clinton's quotes yesterday where he slammed the Wall Street Journal (I think)..... Yesterday I saw Judy Woodrift play parts of Clinton's speech and I definitely heard him say some nasties about another paper, and she made a snied comment. Today I can't find it anywhere.

I went to CNN and read the transcript of Woodrifts show yesterday, and it is not in there. Of course the "good parts" that Dem Judy probably liked are in there, but not all that was shown. (Just another CNN bias alert.)

Link: http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0212/03/ip.00.html

Has anyone found his complete speech? thanks, Karen

"Al-Qaida should be our top priority," Clinton said. "Iraq is important, but the terror network is more urgent in terms of its threat to our security."

The dumb sh!t doesn't realize that Iraq and Al-Qaida are linked. By bringing down Iraq we strengthen our foot-hold in The Middle-East. Just when you think this certifiable idiot couldn't possibly make a more assinine statement, he outdoes himself.

BTW, are you APPY PAPPY from the VFW?

Geeez...just a little while ago, Tommy Taliban Daschle tried to blame right wing talk radio and the media...and came up a LAUGHING STOCK, so why did BUBBA pick the same dead horse to beat...oh, I forgot...Bubba's every public word is scripted, and the Dems must not be finished beating this particular dead horse.

I guess they recycled Tommy's speech for Clinton's use, in the hopes that the public will buy it (this time).

Fairness doctrine ad nauseum until '04, I suppose. Look for McStain to co-sponser a bill on it next year.

"We had a strategy rooted in new ideas ... we didn't have to wake up the morning after the election and wonder what it was we were going to do," Clinton said. "We knew what we wanted to do, and we set about doing it."

So, the 1994 elections were not a surprise???

Boy, howdy, did they "set about doing it". Let's see. There was the illegal fundraisers, the getting of money from the Riadys and the Chicoms, the Buddhist Temple, the White House fundraising phone calls, the White House "Coffees", the Lincoln Bedroom, the selling of our national defense secrets for campaign cash, the "untimely passing" of the Commerce Secretary, triangulation, the smearing of Newt Gingrich, the lying about Republicans starving children and killing old people...all to insure re-election in 1996. Did I miss anything?

THIS coming from a man who could have done something after the attack on the USS Cole, but did nothing. After the bombing of the Barracks in Saudi Arabia, but did nothing. After two U.S. embassies were bombed, but did nothing. After being offered Bin Laden, but did nothing. After the twin towers were bombed in 1993, but did nothing.

what a loser.

He's so "has been" that he doesn't even know that he's not hip. People love Ronald Reagan. People tolerate William Jefferson Blythe Clinton.

If you bothered to read past the fraudulent title, you'd realize that, on at least this specific occassion, Clinton did no such thing.

"Clinton's remarks came during a speech Tuesday to the Democratic Leadership Council, a national network that Clinton helped found in the 1980s to steer the party toward a more centrist image."

The Democratic Leadership Council is a "centrist" sounding synonym for the most LEFTIST/SOCIALIST/MARXIST/IMPERIALIST group ever conceived...The TURD WAY MOVEMENT. Which is why I was sure he's the anti-Christ. Maybe he's just a false anti-Christ, paving the way for the real one.

What are you talking about? Are you telling me he's praising "extreme right-wing elements in the media"? Pull your head out of your hole_n_one.

Daschle, Gore, and now Clinton have all blasted the "right-wing" media, despite the fact that the media is 90% liberal. This is chilling because they obviously want ALL the media to be liberal. How far will they go to achieve that objective remains to be seen. Last year, Ted Kennedy endorsed a book that advocated governmental regulation of Internet websites such as this, requiring such sites to post "opposing viewpoints." Then, as George Will pointed out, the Democrats and Rhinos supported "campaign finance reform" largely to silence conservative groups like the NRA. What's next?

""We had a strategy rooted in new ideas..."

WRONG. Your strategy is rooted in NO ideas. You HAVE no strategy except to divide the nation with your slick, pre-packaged, canned "crises of the day".

"We knew what we wanted to do, and we set about doing it."

RIGHT. You wanted a One World, Socialist-Collectivist Government, and paved the way for the Nazi Wahhabists to attack the West.

"Republicans will always have more money, more powerful interest groups, the fervor of right-wing emotion."

WRONG. Republicans have issues. And look who's talking about 'FERVER'!!! After all of those feverish media love fests, which were eaten up by your fanatical, brainwashed, dimwit followers, and culminating in the Wellstone thing (the Dems still insist it was 'beautiful' and 'appropriate'), that statement is the ultimate in Clintonista misdirective projection.

"The Democratic Leadership Council's ideology of a 'third way' between the traditional left and right is credited with propelling Clinton to the presidency in 1992"

Well, at least that part is true. The Third Way = the Third Reich, and the Clinton propaganda machine is patterned - successfully - after Hitler's - equally successful - Nazi propaganda machine.

"I've read all the people who say the Democratic party is dead, but I respectfully disagree"

Also true. Democrats may have nothing but canned 'crises of the day' to run on, but they're very talented at recycling and repackaging those 'crises' and reselling them to the public.

"Much of the party's weakness now, he said, can be blamed on Democrats' failure to stand up for each other when they are attacked by other politicians and 'extreme right-wing elements in the media.' "

To the left wing, anyone that doesn't FERVENTLY believe their party propaganda is a 'right wing extremist'.

"We have to be firm and clear and strong and positive and prepared to defend our positions and those who are brave enough to stick their necks out."

LOL...RIGHT. We conservative HAVE noticed that you Turd Way Dems are EXTREMELY defensive. Anyone else remember Bubba biting the head off of a young reporter who asked him in Russia recently what CLINTON had done to stop terrorism?? He not only didn't answer, he showed his demonic side and nearly gave the poor kid a heart attack.

" 'Al-Qaida should be our top priority,' Clinton said. 'Iraq is important, but the terror network is more urgent in terms of its threat to our security.' "

See above. Oh, and Bubba you moron...Iraq is a major FUNDER of the al Qaeda network of organized terrorist rings as well as Saudi Arabia.

"He said Democrats this year failed to highlight the idea that putting together the newly formed homeland security department should take a backseat to other national security issues"

UH HUH...the security of this country isn't important for national security.

"What we need to do is say, 'What we're after is the abuses, but we want to hold up the entrepreneurial giant that made this economy grow in the 1990s' "

OH, you mean the Clintonista artificial tech bubble which started to deflate in 2000, UNDER YOUR WATCH, BUBBA?? Cut me a break. The 'entrepeneurial giant' that made your phony economy never existed and all of your bloated, favorite companies are coming unglued at the seams.

#&60;/end dissection>

This ...THING...should have been titled "Clinton Lies, Whines, Passes Buck (as usual)"

I haven't found a Wall Street Journal quote, but here's some more conservative media bashing, this time from the Washington Posterier:

The Republicans "have an increasingly right-wing and bellicose conservative press," he said. "And we have an increasingly docile establishment press."

Well, at least he had a partial admission. At least he admitted that the establishment media is on his side.

"The answer is because the media is overwhelmingly liberal and they don't see him as a disgrace."

That's fervent, left-wing emotion for ya.

"Is it me, or does it seem like Bill may be posturing for another run at POTUS?"

NAH...he's angling for head of the UN.

After reading the entire article, it sounds more like he's reading Terry McAwful's post-election rant after it was re-written for him. He gives all the same talking points, plus the new leftist buzzword "centrist", and adds a few national security issues to make him seem like the leader he never was...and which weren't important to him while he was fornicating in the Oval Office.

He's setting up the campaign party line for the NEXT example of Democrat scum...err...cream in '03.

Agreed, the title IS fraudulant...however, if YOU'D read the entire article, you'd know that he DID blame "extreme right-wing elements in the media" - among other ridiculous things. Tenth paragraph in the article.

This fact is often overlooked. I live in an upper-end liberal enclave in NYC. Not a few people here regard the NY Times as a center or even right of center paper. This is hard to fathom but it is quite true.

"Not a few people here regard the NY Times as a center or even right of center paper."

If the NY Times, which employs almost nothing but 'journalists' who are SO far to the left that they have to hug trees just to keep from falling out of Earth's atmosphere, is to the RIGHT of many in your neighborhood...then your neighborhood is populated by people who's minds exist in an alternate universe.

I'd be scared to live in a neighborhood like that.
