Celis went out of buisness I think. I can say for sure they are no longer in the building where they had a brewery in northeast Austin.

Celis was bought out by Miller around the time of the Y2K changeover, and I understand has the label and equipment for sale to any interested regional buyers.

I might have withstood that disappointment, but around March of this year Austin's Barbecue in Dallas closed its doors for the last time, after a half-century of fixing the best ol' Texas barbecue I've had the good fortune to run across.

Sigh. Next thing I suppose we'll hear that they've started letting Mexicans just walk across the border....
