ABU DHABI, Dec 16 (KUNA) -- The daily Emirates newspaper "Al-Itihad" described the Iraqi declaration of its weapons program, as being "pierced" saying that it violates UN resolution 1441 which complies Iraq to reveal all details of its weapons program. Al-Itihad said, " Iraq actually turned over the declaration amidst a huge media campaign a day before the due date, but an hour later, the Iraqi regime brought back the year 1990 and its invasion of Kuwait to mind with its so-called apology. It added, that many sources which have studied the declaration believe that things are not going in Iraq's favor. The article, entitled "The Declaration Gaps" concluded that the declaration might be half the truth and that the Iraqi regime concealed the whole truth because of fears of condemnation, but that it wont ensure innocence of the regime.(end)
