Just what is it that you aren't understanding about this? There are two totally seperate issues here and you are ignoring one of them. One is the experimentation on animals to improve medical procedures, find cures for diseases, etc. That is fine when done under the right circumstances and when following proper procedures. It is NOT fine when lying and deceit are involved. If he had gone thru the proper channels to get his animals so be it. But he didn't. Is this the old the end justifies the means argument because when that becomes accepted this country is thru. Now that I think about it, maybe it already has been accepted.

I have no problem with practicing on cats or dogs instead of people, and apparently they were humanely killed. As far as lies go, we had to kill a feral female and her brood that took up residence here at the farm, because we couldn't catch her to get them rabies shots. The granddaughter age 4 at the time, wondered where she and the half-grown kitties went, so we told her we found a good home for them all. We did. Two feet underground.

We lied. She couldn't handle the information. I am assuming everyone here is close to adulthood, and can.
