Many experts have expressed skepticism. This layman does too. Why do these kooks get so much press?
To: solzhenitsyn
they're not even bright enough to pull off a decent scam.Au Contraire. Has any major media outlet declined to cover this story? On the theory that "any publicity is good publicity," I'd say they've pulled off quite a spectacular scam.

My guess is that these people will eventually submit to the DNA test. They probably paid Clonaid a small fortune to get a "cloned" baby, and they're probably wondering right now if the company didn't do some kind of
in vitro fertilization procedure and foist it off on them as a cloning process.
The article mentions that Clonaid refuses to reveal where its facilities are -- I'm sure this has nothing to do with the controversy surrounding human cloning and everything to do with skirting consumer fraud legislation.

More recent...you asked for it. This is after the anti-cloners got to her.

I actually vaguely remember that. I'll be darned.

Interesting.
Next up is the Italian surgeon who is attempting to do human cloning. Baby due shortly.

Dude, is that a screen capture from a porno flick?!?!

She does not look "OK" in that picture -- she looks like her makeup was painted on by a highway crew.

Perhaps, by some "miracle" the baby will be found to carry Rael's genes.

Agree.
And the couple will probably sue when they find out they got just a "regular" in-vitro instead of the promised clone - another reason why the company is in no hurry for a DNA test.

Gee, even those goofball scientists/biologists/environmentalists that submitted the lynx hair samples had an excuse (as lame as it was/is).
Perhaps these folks feel it's beyond Earthly comprehension to understand?
Where's the poster with the Kang & Kodos picture?
I always found those to be quite humorous.

The end result looks like this. Wonder what Mr Diversity would say about that???
Peter Kirstein, Mr Diversity.

Who was the first absolute idiot in the mainstream media that believed these National Enquirer rejects? There's gotta be a paper trail on the first bozo to have "scooped" this story.

That is one ugly woman. Even for KS standards

Katie Couric is the one that "claims" the scoops.
