VENTURA, Calif. (AP) - An arrest warrant was issued Monday for accused date-rapist Andrew Luster after the Max Factor heir disappeared over the weekend, officials said.
Luster, the great grandson of cosmetics mogul Max Factor, last checked in with probation officials early Friday, said Patrick Neil, division manager of the Ventura County Probation Agency. He did not report in as required that evening and failed to appear in court Monday, Neil added.

Except for the heirs of the Kennedys and the Rockefellers, it seems that they just don't know what to do with all of that money, except to use it to get in trouble. Pity. He could have done some good with his millions instead of using it to buy date-rape drugs and videocam equipment.

I live in the same county as this guy and the prosecutors felt very strongly that he would try to escape. Now that the trial is heating up I guess he figured it was a good time to bail.
I also go to UCSB which was a favorite place for him to go after school hours and find his "dates". He is really disgusting and the defense his lawyers are proposing is reprehensible.

Nooooo!! Independantly wealthy. Facing the possibility of life in prison. One of the elitists who blame the world for their (own) problems. And he's gone? Who whodda thunkit?
