IT'S GETTING CREEPY down there in Miami -- and I'm not talking about the dolphins or Marisleysis' fainting spells or Gloria Estefan's political conga line.I'm talking about the grotesque carnival of child psychologists, social workers, mental health experts, and other assorted spin doctors who claim to possess almighty medical knowledge of "what's best" for little Elian Gonzalez.
Can she take what she dishes out?
And he agrees with every word Trent Lott says!
(It's not quite as much fun; it's like dueling an unarmed man.)
(Here's the child refrence)
1. To push or thrust out.
To protrude or project.
Also (here's where your crab comes in)
2. To shape (a plastic, for instance) by forcing it through a die.
v : form or shape by forcing through an opening; as of metal [syn: squeeze out]
After all, the only "power" he has IS the oil.
Not that this thread needs to wonder any further...
But, call me a cynic or out of the loop but consider this:
When you watch the news pay attention to what Saddam is wearing and doing based on the news of the day. Lately he's been shown in a suit and tie and not shooting a gun in the air. It's been that way since the inspectors went in.
Who does it benefit if we go in? Not him. Not us. He lit off all the wells last time.
Who does it benefit if we don't go in? Everyone. Wells intact, infrastructure in place for both the French and Russian oil concerns and us as an arbiter of trade.
Look for some weird stuff to happen in the next few weeks. Like the Iraqi parliment taking an assertive role in "defiance" to Saddam or the mention of the Gang of Five (the rag tag group of would-be ascendents to the throne)somehow having a meeting with the UN. Granted the replacements there leave less to the imagination for the forseeable future but if they're hamstrung with another UN treaty then it doesn't matter what happens.
The last thing we want to do is invade Iraq when we don't have to. We've got far better things to do with our troops than settling a score that the media and diplomats have firmly in hand.
We're nowhere near the 1991 levels now and if you look at the dispersal of our carriers we're spread in a different configuration.
This one isn't going to go the way the last one did and while all eyes are on Iraq we should be looking elsewhere.
ROFLMAO. Only a delusional "one percenter" would believe that Bush's support in this country is insignificant.
No-one doubts that, excepting the noisy but numerically insignificant Spammers For Bush crew.
Bush's latest round of tax cut proposals, and renominating all the ususal suspects for the Bench is evidence of Bush's commie lib propensities. I am sure you agree.
Did you lock horns with any of the libertarians working in the Bush Administration?
Good job!
LOL!
It took all the strength I have not to..
(ROFL!)
But he won't issue an EO to dissolve the 2 other branches of government so yes he is a LIBERAL.
Mile wide and an inch deep, H. The libs and their media are holding fire until the Dems sort themselves out leadership-wise, is all. Matter of fact it would be very interesting to compare his support graph (excluding the 911-Afghan spike) with his father's.
