NFL Predictions - Playoff Thread
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | 1-11-03 | Gerry Dulac

The Steelers have lost eight of their past 10 meetings with Tennessee and were physically manhandled -- Bill Cowher's words -- by the Titans during the regular season.

And they are playing just six days after their emotional playoff victory against the Browns with a secondary that has injuries and other problems. No team had a better finish to the regular season than the Titans, who won 10 of their final 11 games after a 1-4 start. But the Steelers have never lost a playoff game to a division team (OK, the Titans qualify are a former division mate). After coming back from 11- and 17-point deficits in their past two games, they are not about to panic against the Titans. OK, the Steelers have yet to win a road playoff game under Cowher (0-2). But they seem to respond when nobody gives them a chance.

Forget the Ref's, the Giants kicking group were lousy!
Don't rule out the 49'ers; I predict 49'ers by 10 points.

LOL!!! When has McNair EVER been knocked out? That guy's the Terminator. You just can't stop him.

Titans over Steelers - 24 to 13.

McNair's pain shot will wear off as the game goes on. A couple of hits on the back and he may be gone. Is it Neil Odonnell waiting in the wings?

Remember the rule. D wins playoff games. TB can do it.

Eagles will dominate Falcons in bitter cold Philly.

Don't count on it...the cold didn't bother the Falcons last week and it won't bother them this week. Michael Vick is one of the best athletes ever at Quarterback...watch and be amazed.

By the way, I am pgk also. Vivat Jesus! The packers ended the season as a pretty mediocre team with a super QB. Eagles have 3 all pros in the secondary. I like Vick but he wont get the time to pass or scramble.

Think the Raiders can hold the Jets to 17 points with that aging secondary? Not on your life. Jets score 40.

"WORST...NATIONAL ANTHEM...EVER!"

I kinda liked it.

OTOH, I think the Titans' uniforms are pretty ugly.
