Have you noticed the multi-front attack the D's are mounting? That was some strategy meeting they had over the holidays. I think they've decided that perhaps this administration is a bit smarter than they had figured. Now that they know that Bush and his gang can walk and chew gum at the same time, the D's are attempting to confuse them with political cluster bombs. Problem with that strategy is that it tends only to confuse the electorate who can't handle that many complaints at one time without concluding that their party is just acting like a royal pain in the behind.

Did anyone else see Bob Novak on with Judy Woodruff - I missed the first part of the interview, but perked right up when I heard Bob say something about the Dems. and that Hillary might be put on the ticket as VP - and that the Republicans have been told to stay away from Hillary - Do not talk to her - Do not be seen with her - Do not sign up to co-sponser any bills with her and Definitely, Definitely do not get your picture taken with/or anywhere near her !!!!! For instance, if Hillary! does run (whenever), I'd like to see the Repubs remake an old Reagan campaign ad. I don't remember if it was during the 1980 or 1984 campaign, but this was the gist of it:

The "voice over" tune was "Tell Them You Remember" ~ and the video included scenes of long gas lines, the effects of stagflation, copies of newspaper articles updating us on the "misery index" and snipets of other Carter/Democrat "triumphs". ~ It was a powerful ad.

Think of the possibilities if we apply that same "voice over" tune to the Clinton years.

The possibilities sure do bring a smile to my face ;^)
