"We take our role as leaders very seriously and we know people at the national level watch what we do," said Elizabeth Kaeton, rector of St. Paul's Chatham and a founder of a national coalition in support of same-sex marriages. "We can talk about sex and sexuality and we can talk about war and peace. We can debate all issues intelligently."

"Why, we can take this ol'church and bend it any which way we wanna!"

"We can even overrule God by a simple majority vote!"

My rector's gonna be tearing his hair out...

Despite some dissenting voices from conservative parishes, a vast majority of the delegates also voted in favor of calling for a national liturgy to bless same- sex unions.

I've noticed that those that are pro-abortion are against the war and those that are anti-abortion are for the war. Kind of stange till you look behind the curtain (Who focuses on the Bible and who focuses on feelings.).
