It's ignorant and cruel to imply that everyone who contracts the disease is to blame for their condition.

True, but promiscuous homosexual sex and sharing needles is the reason why AIDS is a global epidemic.

Not all charity of this magnitude reaches the proper hands to help. That the U.N has an inkling to do with it makes me ashamed.

And others were complaining about the African govts wasting the money....which of course is also wrong.

I was addressing the numerous posts which only expressed contempt for the millions dying from AIDS and Bush for making the US #1 in trying to save lives.

Wrong. The AIDS epidemic is greatest in areas of the world like Africa where HETEROSEXUALS are spreading it.

Your rant does not impress me. It is real money because it comes out of mine and your paychecks. Do you understand that? I doubt it.

That you took my post in this way says alot. You mistook my monopoly money statement as literal.

How about this, you send them your paycheck for as long as you want to, and leave mine alone.

Whose them? the federal gov? The U.N.?

Like I can do this. This was my very point in my so called rant that does not impress you- There is nothing we can do like it or not. You stop the monies from flowing to Africa-have at it.

If we have the evidence that President Bush says we have, then we can go it alone and eliminate Saddam, no problem. And we can keep the $15,000,000,000 that we need here.

If we go at it alone, we will lose even more money and carry the entire cost burden ourselves. Do you know how much it costs to keep a carrier muchless fleet or two readied at sea? NATO would even veto us going alone. We, like it or not, cannot do as we please. NATO commands our fleets over the commander-in-chief. The dems would have a hey day with this, but you don't seem to understand.

You are the one who doesn't understand. We will carry the cost, period. No matter what. End of conversation. We always do. Are you that ignorant?

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. NATO doesn't do squat. We do not depend on them, or the UN. They depend on us. Period.

Pull your head out of your butt and get a whiff of fresh air. Maybe you will learn something.

May be, who knows, probably, but it was on the discovery channel that aids 'started' in Africa in a vile way. So, let's end it in Africa, agreed.

I want a U.N. report on why the United Nations/ United Way money never reached the grieving, WTC towers families. Do you not watch Fox News/ The O Reilly Factor?

If all the monies were truly given that the U.N. collected in Unicef boxes at halloween in the states over 30 years ago, I think Ethiopia would not be still full of starvation.

If I won the lottery I would give to Saint Judes hospital-where i know the kids are truly helped.

Your monopoly money statement was literal. You were just shown how moronic it was and are trying to act like you didn't mean it.

Breakdown of how the African Aids money will be spent.

1.Fact finding missions(Rolls Royces for the King/President/warlord, etc. and all his reletives, so they can drive past AIDS victims)

2.AIDS prevention(electrified fences, to keep AIDS victims away from above mentioned people)

3.AIDS emergency resources (swiss bank accounts, in case the AIDS epidemic gets so bad that the above mentioned people have to leave the country.

Wrong. The AIDS epidemic is greatest in areas of the world like Africa where HETEROSEXUALS are spreading it.

And I suppose AIDS first showing up in San Francisco as the gay cancer was just an anomaly. Of course, most of the promiscuous homosexuals and drug users have died of AIDS, so their share of being the vectors isn't as great as it once was.

Whenever my local liberal rag prints a story about a new STD breakout, it's always in the gay club scene.

Instead of name calling why don't you explain what you think NATO is. Can you tell me what NATO stands for without doing a search and finding out how clueless you are?

Also explain why we are awaiting the United Nations permission to utilize our military in action in Iraq.

Well if you believe this then they will be taking over a continent that will cease to exist since everybody will be dead from AIDS

Not everyone has AIDS, and it's not the people they want, it's the resources. They'll just kill those they can't convert anyway.

You are now beyond any point of reasoning. If you claim I don't know squat tell me what you know to prove otherwise about NATO.Any first hand experience. No way-that I know.

See post 6 and 13 it was a fecetious comment that I took all the way to the bank in monopoly money humor. Sorry if you don't get it.

You called me ignorant. You are sad. I am hoping when you typed NATO to search to see what it stands for you will read the web page (just a little) to see how ignorant you are.

So W is now following Patty Murray's advice, and the FReepers cheer.

Uh, in case you haven't noticed it's not the terrorist states we're interested in saving. Most of Africa is either Christian or animists.

According to that senior administration official, the power that be at the White House does not regret going to the United Nations and creating an army of weapons inspectors in Iraq. Why would folks at the White House think so? Well, punching the U.N. ticket facilitates the signing up of allies in the effort to supplant Saddam--that is, allies willing to join the United States in a war against Iraq.

How does it matter whether the takeover targets are sane Islamics or some other religion? According to Patty Murrayism the sane Islamic states didn't become terrorists until Bin Laden beat us to the compassionate spending.

HA, shows you how stupid Murray is, the Islamists are enslaving and murdering all the Christians and anamists. Hardly what you call compassionate. She really ought to get out more.

Your justification for this complete waste of taxpayer money is as ridiculous as any excuse made for Bill Clinton's blatant corruption. How stupid can you "conservatives" be? This "conservative" president is proposing spending like no president since LBJ, if not FDR. His monstrous Homeland Security Department alone should be enough to awaken the anger in true patriots. The "War on Terrorism" nonsense is being used, as you are using it here, to justify anything and everything. And while he is taking away our civil liberties, and committing invaluable resources to attacking a tiny third-world country to appease the Israeli-first neoncons in his administration, he refuses to do anything about protecting our borders! What could be more basic to "homeland security" than maintaining the integrity of our borders? But then again, I guess that's why we call it the Stupid Party.

If this had been announced by a democrap, it would be ridiculed and vilified by all on this site. But since a republican, mainly George Bush, pulled it out of his ear, it is a great idea.

Absolutely disgusting.

I agree. If Clinton had came up with this colossal waste of money giveaway, the outrage would be deafening....

W is fighting the war on terrorism, whether some recognize it or not. BINGO for the right answer.

This is a very prescient President who is looking at possible threats and allies in the century ahead.
