Sloganmaster Jesse Jackson: "We Need Duh Cheese" (Government Cheese Needed For Protest)

Posted on 02/09/2003 7:33:50 AM PST by Doctor Raoul

Actually, Jesse couldn't give a rat's ass unless it's FOR Jesse. It's the DC Chapter that will put it to good use.

To be used in an upcoming protest, a block of government cheese, in it's cardboard carton and plastic wrapper is requested.

In lieu of that, just the cardboard box would be fine.

Please send me a FReep Mail before you send anything, so we don't wind up with more than we need.

By Feb 20th, send your "donation" for this effort to:

DC Chapter of Free Republic
P.O. Box 65165
Washington, D.C. 20035-5165

Thank you.

Like Jesse says, "You can't have the cheese 'cause it's Nacho Cheese."

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

If you get more commodity cheeses than you need, please freep me!I'll pay for shipping!

Tons of my favorite "poor white trash" recipes call for government cheese, and velveeta just does not cut it as a substitute!

Anybody remember the song Government Cheese by the Rainmakers?

Now there was an anthem for Reagan's America. The song is just filled with scorn for lazy welfare cadgers.

Then there was Drinkin' on the Job which heaped abuse on layabouts who show up drunk and do their jobs in a half-assed way.

Information was a ringing (both in lyrics and musical arrangement) defense of libertarianism and minding your own business, and my favorite song on the album.

One of the other really good ones was Long Gone, a poignant ballad about growing up in a small farming town.

Let my People Go-Go was like the Book of Ecclesiastes set to danceable rock'n'roll music.

And no one who ever heard Big Fat Blonde will ever forget it.

Man, I loved that band. Their debut album was one of the best I ever bought, in terms of the ratio of good songs to bad. Only one I didn't really like was Doomsville.

If you really want to shut them up give them some of the government surplus peanut butter we were forced to eat in school back in the 60's. That will shut anybody up.

It was.We used to trade fresh vegetables for it, sometimes. It wasnt really that we traded, but back then, if you tried to be neighborly and dropped off a few bushels of produce to a neighbor in need, they wouldnt take it unless they could give something back.

Wasn't that a Red Foxx joke? I was glad to see that he lived long enough to make the big time on TV.
