I believe it will come out of the northwest...

I got this info from the local weather dood. (And he's been correct a few times just this past year!) I'm pretty sure the NASA site would have some more info.

Uhhh...you do realize that this changes depending upon your location...don't you? It will also not be at the same elevation..etc...only for people in your location. Where are you located? Also...it is a pretty common occurance to see the ISS in the morning or evening hours...looks like a moving Venus.

Where are you located?Just where I can see it between 7:12 and 7:15 pm EST.
Where are you?
To: Libloather
That's my point...it doesn't make a lot of sense to post it as a thread and not mention anything else because it is really worthless information for everyone else that does not live near to you. If you live in the east...this is a worthless post for those who live in the NE, SE, midwest, etc etc etc.

I think you can get a lot of information about where to spot satellites as well as the ISS in the sky by visiting this Web Site
http://www.heavens-above.com/ Hope this helps!

Yes, heavens above is a great source for passes.
You put in your location and it tells the exact times of all passes for the next 10 days.
You can put the location in by name of city or lat-long.
And, Yes the ISS will pass nw-ne, for Salt Lake City it is 1842MST.
If you have never seen the ISS or Shuttle passes, it is awe inspiring.

What's really cool is when they pass together or following one another.

I saw the one last fall where the shuttle was in trail from the ISS. The were seperated by about 5 degrees.

What's really cool is when they pass together or following one another. I took my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter out the last time the shuttle and ISS were docked. I was shocked at how bright it was.
Scared the heck out of my daughter. ;-)

No need for binoculars, Libloather...it'll be one of the brightest objects in the sky.
Had a good 6 minute long pass last night, and just as it was hitting it's highest point, there was an Iridium flare a few degrees above it. Good show! As with all of the other comments...do check out www.heavens-above.com...it's a great source of info.

...too much cloud cover. And there ya have it. I had PERFECTLY clear skies - and saw two blinking objects cross each other around 7:14. I think they were looking for a place to land.
Better luck next time - eh?
