I believe that it sounds like you live in a pretty neat area. Or is being surrounded by parks a symbol of something evil?
I guess it depends on where you live. I consider "buildable land" to be that which has sufficient water, reasonable means of sewage disposal (no swamps, in other words), and viable means of making a living near enough.
Here, in the People's Republic of Washington, Seattlite-idiots have voted in "Growth Management" which makes it tough for folks out here in the boondocks to actually do much with their land.
I guess I just distrust those who think they know "what's best for everyone."
