Cherry picker! Read Gen. 31. It wasn't the superstition - that colors shown to the animals while mating - that caused the outcome, it was God's intervention.

In reality, it was genetics that caused it because the spotted, streaked, and speckled animals had previously not been separated from the solid colored ones, so their genes would have all of those traits co-mingled in their DNA.

I think it is you who needs to go back and read Genesis 30 -31

30:40 And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle.

30:41 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.

30:42 But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

This fairy tale is about how Jacob who gets to keep the multicolored animals is trying to scam the best farm animals from his father in law. So he puts the magical "Genetic" rods in front of the animals he likes so they will have the offspring he will get while screwing his father in law which is a total falsehood with what we know about genetics today.

I find it amusing that you would use the word "Cherrypicker", Considering in order to truly believe creationism you have to cherrypick out all the scientific and historical inaccuracies, contradictions and flat out absurdities found throughout the bible.

All you got to do is just look at how Genesis I and II contradict each other in order of creation to realize how flawed it is.

Gen.1:25-27

Humans were created after the other animals.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let *us* make man in *our* image.... So God created man in his own image.

Gen.2:18-19

Humans were created before the other animals.

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called *every living creature*, that was the name thereof.

** On a side note. Notice the US & Our, It looks like the bible is suggesting there is more than one god. And every living creature!! Come on now Jeez there are millions of species it would have of taken Adam a long time to name them all, It would take 1000's of years just to get through all the beetles.

And there is about 10 more things in chapters 1 & 2 any 6th grader could easily point out as contradicting or being flat out wrong. (i.e. How can we have a space program with a firmament around the earth)

Sure there are still some unanswered questions in the theory of Evolution but the theory of evolution doesn't have any of the "Mistakes" that are found throughout Genesis and the rest of the bible.

So yeah because they both rely on Outdated and Junk Science and to believe what they believe requires ignoring evidence right in front of their faces Creationist and the Global warming environmental whackos are two sides of the same coin.
