Can post 853 be removed right away please? Thank you.

Uh -- are we allowed to still be here after Jim Rob's statement today? Don't want to tick off the big guy. But if it is okay, I would just like to say "I think it's so groovy now -- that people are finally gettin' together -- I think it's so wonderful -- that people are finally gettin' together -- reach out in the darkness -- reach out in the darkness."
Sneaking back in.

One Dutch group I don't think we've named yet is Shocking Blue -- not only "I'm Your Venus" but the follow-up "Mighty Joe."

Uh, yeah, I just finished reading the big guy's edict. Maybe it's a good time to end this delightful thread. But....."Breaking up is hard to doooooooo" [dabbing eyes with kleenex]
Get some sleep for once my friend and see ya on the serious threads.

Hard to picture Annette and Brian Wilson working on a record together. Was this before or after she did "My heart's whirlin' -- I'm the girl in -- love with Merlin Jones"?

April Wine also did "You could have been all right -- you could have been here tonight -- could have been sweet as wine -- could have been a lady."

It is still possible to join the Mary Hopkin Friendly Society for those so inclined. "Sing a song of Temma Harbor."

Could we make room for England Dan and John Ford Coley in your Hell? Just because nobody except you and me and T Minus Four remembers them today is no reason future generations should not learn about the damage they caused to the music industry. And just to make sure they don't attempt a comeback. This will not stand!! Maybe you could toss Rupert Holmes in there too -- "Him, him, him, what's she gonna do about him"

Okay, okay. But let me just say to you as you leave this little island of tranquility -- "If you go away -- and I know you will -- you must tell the world -- to stop spinning 'til -- you return again -- if you ever do -- for what good is love -- without loving you -- can I tell you now -- as you turn to go -- I'll be crying so --if" choke, choke, sob -- can't finish....splat!!!!

I am currently being tortured by Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever". I have no idea why this is in my head. You must admit, however, that the video is HOT!

Shakira could be wearing a burqa and still be
muy caliente!

Also of note (so to speak) is that many radio stations took "D.O.A." off their playlists because the sirens were realistic enough that people were pulling over to the side of the road when it came on. Isn't that one about to be Saddam Hussein's theme song?
