The person I would most like to see E.D. interview would be Katie Couric. LOL

I couldn't disagree with you more about the manners. I find it to be quite rude when someone just filibusters, particularly with lies, expecting that just by continuing to talk and never give the other person an opening they can go unchallenged. Where you see Janeane being polite, I saw her attempting to be quite rude.

On the other side, I saw Brian make his point and/or ask a question, and then shut up to give her a chance to respond. When she would, he would challenge her response. He was polite without being a doormat.

She replied, what does what my profession is have to do with anything?

She sure did and, more importantly, She said "what the H-E-double toothpicks. . . She was rattled.

There seems to be no correct way to go at it with the charismatic, moderatlely informed gang without taking criticism for being too - whatever, so he got onto her level. It was ugly - and beautiful.

Janeane was still WRONG

...and pretty damned ignorant of the realities of the inspection process. She had it in her head that it's up to the inspectors to find the WMD, which is not the case. Iraq is bound to present the gear for inspection - and of course this hasn't happened.

I deliberately turned it OFF before it started -- I figured those lightweight hosts bantering back and forth would make it nothing more than a fluff piece where she would get to spew her leftist anti-war crap with little or no challenge from the hosts.
You chose poorly this time. Kilmeade was not in a state of mind to sit back and let her get the celebrity treatment.

Bio on Brian:

Brian Kilmeade is known for his ability to conduct entertaining interviews. Whether his guest is an 11-year old competing in a fencing match or a top sports celebrity, Kilmeade uses instinct, experience, and his easy-going brand of humor to achieve a meaningful and personal connection with his guest. Working in a New York City has proven to be an advantage for Kilmeade because he has immediate access to the celebrities and stars he brings to radio listeners and TV watchers through his interviews.

Television viewers are familiar with Kilmeade as sports anchor, host and reporter on Fox News Channel's morning show Fox & Friends. Now, sports fans across the country will get to know Kilmeade as he co-hosts a live weekend radio show that you can hear on Broadcast Sports. Kilmeade will bring his boundless energy to Broadcast Sports.. Broadcasting live from Manhattan, he will feature interviews, topical discussions, and recaps of the weekend's games.

Kilmeade had attained a considerable reputation as a sports industry insider and savvy journalist. His high level of commitment and determination have taken the relatively young Kilmeade to an impressive point in his career.

Kilmeade began his career as soon as he finished college. While working for David Letterman, the boss himself advised Kilmeade to find a job that would put him on the air. His ambition landed him a job as a correspondent on Channel One, a daily national high school TV news program.

Kilmeade followed his work at Channel One with a move to Southern California, where he hosted a call-in talk show on XTRA AM 690, and co-hosted the Jim Brown Show with the legendary running back. Dealing with a combination of sports, political, and social issues, the Jim Brown Show gave Kilmeade the unique ability to deliver top-flight reporting on a wide variety of topics.

A move back east has seen Kilmeade wearing the hats for a sports anchor, co-host, producer, and, prior to his appearance on Fox TV, an anchor, host, and feature reporter for Newsport TV.

Sometimes they present it in TOO entertaining a format. It makes me think sometimes that "Fox and Friends" is just like "Bugs and Daffy and Friends".

I remember when Brian took several shots at Bill Clinton on live TV in the days following 9-11. He interviewed Clinton live at the NYC site and asked him, 'do you feel you're responsible for the terror attacks?' It was great.

I give the kudos to Jeanne Garofalo not by force of argument, but purely on the basis that she's better mannered.

I disagree. Jeanine basically said that Fox was a pub mouthpiece and their views were tainted. Why not come back with "you're a celeb., why should we listen to you without challenging you?" No way was she well mannered and seemed surprised she was challenged.

Janeane Garofalo's only real claim to fame was when she was starring on DR.Katz's cartoon show. What a simpleton.
