Freedom will be advanced over the next ten years, maybe beyond our belief. And, the Left is going to be massively discredited around the world when this goes down.I hope you are right! So, what's the consensus as to when this war starts?
To: rwfromkansas
sounds more like the brutal Afghan winter to me. We better be on the lookoput for Quagmires.

the war starts sometime in the very near future I hope. Ten days max, but how much time we are giving the UN is the big question. We could certainly say they've made their intentions clear re: vote on Iraq, but I think we need to make them VETO it.

You have no idea what the military wants to do. You have no clue whether we have been ready and have put it off. The fact that some reserves were just called about 1 week and half ago and that it takes them at least two weeks to get settled says to me that they haven't been ready. The fact that two weeks ago Blair and Bush both said 3/14 was the date that was likely says to me we haven't been ready. The fact that troops were just getting to Turkey last week and it takes time to deploy them tells me we haven;'t been ready.
But, I haven't got any more info than you do and am making an educated guess just like you.
