The fact is West Wing numbers have been tanking even before Mitch Snyder came out against the War on Terrorism. I'm guessing NBC was thinking about this being the last season any way. This way dumb ass gets to play the victim.

There is a disgustingly embarrassing effort on the part of liberal celebrities, trying to make-pretend that their lock-step, lemming-like, anti-war pronouncements are somehow brave and important.

Garafalo, Streisand, Sheen, et al are obsessed with announcing that they will soldier on in their noble quest, despite the efforts of the government and the media to shut them down.

The fact that this effort to shut them up doesn't exist is irrelevant.

Opening scene, James Woods as newly elected POTUS, breaking the news of the shocking suicide of the former POTUS (Sheen).

I don't want him fired because of some e-mail spam. I want NBC to dump him because his shows ratings drop lower than whale s**t. Stop watching the crap these people are spewing. BOYCOTT THEM!

OH yeah....I remember seeing this one now. They are trying to rent a movie or some such thing.

I only wish I had MCI so I could cancel it too. Every time that revolting commercial comes on with Danny Glover I turn the channel. I notice that Fox News has been running it a LOT lately.

I watch West Wing so I can yell, "I want my own TV show, too!" and "If the conservatives are so rich and powerful, why don't we have our own TV show?"

Mr. Sheen is pro-life, and that will make me forgive a lot of sins. But, he should behave himself well when he speaks about our President, or he might go on my list, anyway.

Although, the writers have written some pretty good lines for President Bartlett, here lately. He said something about "Now, that we have jet airplanes, and everyone is just a few hours away from everyone else, then every man is my neighbor, and everyman can be a threat to my country."

Did everyone notice on the Inaugeration episode, they proved what we all knew was true: No one in the Democratic White House had a Bible.

I DO NOT want Martin Sheen fired for speaking out against the war. He hasn't done anything wrong. For heaven's sake, that would be the worst thing that could happen in this country. We may not agree with his stance, but he has every right to express his views.

I don't think I have heard him bashing President Bush or anything like that. I respect his right to a different view. Other people who bash and verbally attack the President, earn no respect.

Let the marketplace decide which shows and careers will be successful and profitable for their networks. We can show with our pocketbook what we think of his views. Sheen may learn the hard way, that to publicly air his views, has a price. But, that's his decision to get into the game.

Before 9/11, Martin Sheen called Bush a "white knuckle drunk", but I agree he shouldn't be fired for his views.

The thing is, though, he's not going to get fired for his views. He's going to get fired because "West Wing" is slipping in the ratings and he's trying to pre-emptively strike by making it look like he'll lose his job because of his politics, and possibly intimidate NBC into not cancelling the show as soon as they would like.

Last week, Fox News, the conservative cable news station...

I love this. Fox News tries to present both sides of an issue and is branded conservative for the effort. Maybe the guvmint should make Fox News carry a warning label for it's viewers: Viewing the following Fox News Broadcast may result in non-liberal thought processes. Viewers should not vote, take part in any thinking or have political conversations for at least 48 hours. President Hillary can get to work on this after she gets in office.
