Here's some advice:
If you have a question (need help, or "what's BUMP") that's not related to the topic, try sending a private reply to the person - shows up in a FReep Mail on this site. Also, the Admin Moderator is always very helpful if you really get stuck.
If you want to send an email to President Bush expressing your support, try: president@whitehouse.gov
You may also want to learn a little HTML to help you format your posts and learn how to add images, etc. Try searching on HTML primer, like this site HTML Primer.
You could use your "home" page here on FR to try things out.
WELCOME!! Hope you enjoy your stay!

(We're approaching the one-year anniversary of Democrats accusing Bush of a "rush" to war.)

The United States would be a better nation without the Walmarts, Targets, Lowes, Home Depots, etc. Support your local small businessman. It may be a touch more expensive, but it is pro-American.

Regarding actually making a difference with the sponsors ... this has been discussed many times before on this board. The consensus of the cognoscenti seems to be that the most effective thing to do is write a letter (not e-mail) to either the president of the company or the executive responsible for public relations. Tell them that you are a customer who likes their products but is not happy about ... them advertising on a program you think is anti-American, running ads that you think are anti-social, whatever. Keep it short and succinct, and don't just copy a form letter.

Hillary Clinton WAS a member of WalMart Board of Directors. It's been a few years. I remember hearing it on Rush, or something like that!

Rocky 88....THANK YOU for doing the work to post these advertiser links.
It will take several weeks of this to weed out the many advertisers who buy ROS...run of schedule. This is buying a time period rather than a show. It is cheaper and says, for example, we will run your ad from 8 PM - 10 PM...sometime at our choosing.
If we send enough complaints, the advertiers will begin to request to NOT be on West Wing...which is what we want.
My point is .... it will take several weeks to clear out the ROS guys..as NBC will add new ones.
Keep it up, FREEPERS! I sent a note to EVERY advertiser listed above.

I have just e-mailed all of the advertisers that you listed. A simple message," NO MORE Martin Sheen, No NOre West Wing, No More {their Product}. Get the Message?"

I wrote my letter to NBC yesterday. Go to www.nbc.com. Look for the "contact us", and you can email about a specific show from a drop-down window. My letter stated that I would be pulling my support of their entire network AND their sponsors. Now that a previous post here tells us who the sponsors are, I'm well on my way to reducing their revenues as well. A dollar is a dollar whether it comes from a man or woman, you are an american exercising your economic discretion. Give 'em hell everybody!

I guess it is OK to shop Walmart. Walton donated millions to try to keep Clinton out of the governship. He must have figured out what they were all about while she was on the board.
http://webpages.marshall.edu/~ewen/walmart.htm
The article stresses that the impact which Wal-Mart has already made on communities in the US is beginning to be felt in countries such as UK, since Wal-Mart has become the new owner of Asda, one of the largest UK supermarket chains. The same article states that Hillary Clinton was on Wal-Marts board of directors for eight years when her law firm represented them - in 1985. Walton was an avowed Republican who donated millions to trying to keep her husband out of office, and today 15 percent of Clintons net worth is estimated to come from Wal-Mart shares.(10)

Actually I take that back. They still advertise on West Wing. Rats. Sent them a letter but haven't heard from them yet.
