When Old Right conservatives (and the liberal Left) acknowledge that U.S. interventionist policies in the Middle East enflame Islamic extremists, the Beltway neoconservatives brand these folks as the "blame-America-first crowd."

The terrorists, they say, just "hate our system — democracy, freedom, equality." Our being over there has nothing to do with it.

Old Right libertarian bump, but I have no allusions that we will return to a more humble foreign policy after our next escapade.

I'm not saying that Willie is converting me, but this is exactly what we should do.

I will add that we should get rid of every "illegal alien". Those people are the core of our problems in America.

The fact of the matter is that we are taking a bold step to solve the problem rather than to simply manage it. Who knows if it will work but I think it is certainly worth a shot. For 20+ years we have endured the pinpricks of Arabs only stirring when the pinpricks changed to stabs.

1. The Clash of Civilizations between Islam and the West will not go away when Bin Laden is dead. We can control the form of the clash by destroying the Muslim will to fight.

2. The Cold War ain't over. China, Cuba, and North korea are still expansionist.
