Ooo, yeah, that's no good. I'll see if I can resolve that in the morning.

There's also the built-in FreeRepublic Pager at this address which notifies you when a new message on the forum is addressed to you:

Proxy option is busted.

If you go to Properties --> General --> Misc and checkmark the "Get proxy settings from IE on startup" it seems to work fine. Dunno what happens if you don't have IE, though.

Been using this at work all day.

Nice program, thanks. Lot more convenient than opening IE and browsing every 30mins.

I use Linux and Evolution, though so far, I've only used it for mail. I'm assuming you are talking about the Virtual Folders option? How would I go about setting this up?

You can FR mail me if you don't want to use up thread bandwidth. Thanks.

Do you know if there are any current RSS feeds for FR?

It would be amazing if FR had its own RSS generator for the breaking news column. It could have the headline, and the first few paragraphs of whatever someone posts.

Whatever link was given at the beginning of this thread is apparently not being updated. It would be great if FR had its own internal RSS feed, so that it would be perfectly up to date with the rest of the site. It would make getting FR on mobile devices very, very easy. (As it is, I can get FR on my cellphone, but the page always renders wrong.)
