I think you're right. The Holly
weird types like Babs, Alec Baldwin et al are very outspoken on their anti-American views. But some of their audience is also anti-American or don't care . . .
The Heartland sure cares, and PLENTY !

I've often wondered myself what the thought processes were to take a human's life. . .but MY thoughts were about abortion and the infantcide going on everyday by people who justifying killing as a "choice". Sure enough, that's true and I understand.
What the Liberal Loser Peacenik Goober Mellencamp obviously misses about President Bush's Liberally-labeled "Rush to War" is that so MANY lives will be SAVED by ousting the Murdering Tyrant Saddam Hussein who is known to be responsible for the executions of hundreds of thousand of human lives. Many of those are his OWN Iraqi people too ! He gassed the Kurds and has used chemical weapons on his enemies.
As far as the children are concerned, the food for oil program is a farce. MUCH of it goes to his military, NOT the children. It's a waste of effort because the children don't benefit for the most part . . .

Dixie Chicks singer issues apology for Bush comment:
"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful," she said. "I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost."
If this is the case, then what does it have to do with what she said, which was, "They were ASHAMED of Bush being from Texas."
This is SO typical, she is ONLY apologizing because she is being FORCED too, not because she wants too, and my friends that's no apology-
May they reap what they sow!

What is this stuff about a "Rush to war?" Who is rushing to war? To this day there is still no war...Bush has taken every friggin' diplomatic tract he can and probably has contiplated til he blue in the face about what he needs to do. And furthermore, Bush is still exhausting all his options diplomatically to this day, So these people can just go and bang their heads against a brick wall!
Liberal/Moderate Idiotic ramblings abound in this society.

The Ditsy Chicks and Cheryl Crowe. What a nasty American hating foursome that is. Cheryl did the remix to the Ditsy Chick's hit "Landslide" and the old saying birds of a feather flock together.
I hope we see a Sinead O'Connor like demise of the Ditsy Chicks to put their careers in a tailspin. Only time will tell.

Their next stop is Wednesday in Munich, where American policies against Iraq are widely criticized. Ms. Maines apology was pretty tepid. A good start in the PR damage control would be to cancel their Munich concert in support of the USA. But that ain't gonna happen.

Natalie is full of herself. Her apology is far too late. She can't explain herself out of this one. I'm proud that she's being taught a lesson. I hope she feels utterly humiliated.

Cheryl did the remix to the Ditsy Chick's hit "Landslide" and the old saying birds of a feather flock together. That would be the Dixie Chicks cover of the Stevie Nicks hit "Landslide". Not even their own song.

I noticed that CMT played a Dixie Chicks video last night, guess its time to make the switch to GAC.
Good byyyyyyye Chicks., looking forward to seeing you on the proverbial Billboard milk carton.
Count me as another Texan who will boycott.

< Their latest album falls from 4 to 6 today on the Billboard Top 200 >
Was it on it's way up or down? Sorry I don't know much about them.
< On the Hot 100 singles, Landslide is at 7 and their latest single, 'Travelin' Soldier' is at 26 >
Again, are they on the way up or down? For example, has "Landslide" hit #1 and is falling or has it been moving up?
To: catfish1957
I don't have CMT or GAC and you have both. Next year, our cable company will add channels.
