I have very little sympathy for the cops and the city administrations. If they were to start handing out 5 year sentences this BS would end pronto. They want to make nice nice with the protestors (most city mayors where these protests have taken place literally provide board and shelter for the protestors for example) the cops love the overtime and everyone thinks this is all a game. Disgusting all of them.

I was there at SF March 15 as well, and the crowd was a fraction of what it was the month before. There is a law on the books in the California Penal Code that prohibits facial masks in public, Halloween notwithstanding. Those concealing their identities are up to no good and ought to be arrested on this charge prior to "wilding"...

I saw reports on MSNBC, the local channel here in Portland, OR and Fox News. All were nice reports. The Portland report (on events in Salem) said "thousands attended".

It would be wonderful irony if pro-war protestors did damage to these idiots' possessions (if they have any). What if their apartment was broken into and trashed while they were out demonstrating? What if their cars were destroyed? The good guys don't do that but it would be sweet irony.
