He'd die than accept. Saddam despises the Saudis more than the Americans.
To: BurbankKarl
Yeah move him to a house near the fallopian tubes in Jeddah so he'll be Idi Amin's neighbor. They can compare torture recipes.

It did not say Saudi Arabia was offering him asylum. It said Saudi Arabia was proposing exile. That doesn't mean they were inviting him to their neighborhood.

Let's hope Idi cuts his head off and eats it.

Maybe Saddam can go hang out with Moamar Khaddafi, but he just might end up running the place too before long.

Yeah move him to a house near the fallopian tubes in Jeddah so he'll be Idi Amin's neighbor. Okay, I gotta ask - what are the "fallopian tubes in Jeddah"? Is that a neighborhood, or minarets, or what?

Just so it's a place where Larry King can't get hold of him.
To: this_ol_patriot
I guess this means he told Tunesia "no!"
To: this_ol_patriot
Larry King would love to have Saddam available every year to offer commentary & answer softball questions on Bush's performance at annual State of the Union speeches.

Saudi Arabia proposes Saddam exile
RIYADH (Reuters) - Key U.S. ally Saudi Arabia has officially proposed for the first time that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein should go into exile as a last-ditch effort to avert war, a Saudi diplomatic source says.
"The kingdom, and other parties, are exerting maximum effort to prevent a devastating war and they have proposed the idea of exile for Saddam and securing a safe haven for him and his family," the source told Reuters.
U.S. President George W. Bush has said that Saddam and his two sons must leave Iraq by early Thursday Baghdad time or face invasion by some 280,000 U.S. and British forces massed in the Gulf.

If we are unsuccessful in killing him in Iraq....
I would vote that he run to North Korea...
We would get another shot at the bastard, and maybe get a twofer...

In Saudi Arabia, there are street addresses and signs but they are even hard for Arabs to find. All over their cities are "monuments". One is a 100 foot high bicycle;

others are large flowers, boats, ect.

These are what Arabs and Westerners use for directions. One flower monument in Jeddah looks like a pair of fallopian tubes, so that's it's name (to Westerners). So if I wanted to give another Westerner driving directions to where Idi Amin lives in Jeddah, I would give them directions to and past other monuments until they came to the fallopian tubes.
