Rampant speculation on Thursday painted a portrait of a hemorrhaging Oscar show, but honchos at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences laughed off most of the rumors. Hi, I'm in Silverlake also ... top of the hill on Micheltorena. Have you noticed the anti-war state down on Sunset? And all the stiop signs have STP BUSH stenciled on them. Lots of anti-war lawn signs and the like. I'd like to find something to counter ... think I'll put out my US flag tonight.

Since it is at Hollywood and Highland, you might want to mention that taking the subway would be a convinient way, if they don't close it down...

Any word on whether or not that would be running, it would save a huge hassle on parking.
