GREAT READ...now if we could get liberal media (and the Public-at-large) to read AND UNDERSTAND what reporter is saying...the protesters/marxists/stalinists/wackos would all be heading for the tall grass.

Yes, the leftists do block out reality and most importantly, truth to mislead their following.

"Really, how much did Saddam pay you to come?" Makes you wonder how much Saddam paid Clinton *not* to do anything...

"better late than never" I agree with you, but still, twenty three is just a baby. I know that many of our soldiers are that age and younger. Still, alot of young people are growing up being taught so much propaganda, it's amazing they are able to deprogram. There are some wonderful leaders who used to be on the liberal side of the tracks. I know it took me awhile before I had my epiphany!

Young Mr.Pepper said "
Listen, I am just a schmuck from the United States." So much for his sympathy for the Iraqi people.I know there's not anything he could do for that driver, but he fell back on schmuckness instead of empathy.
His last paragraph is rather interesting. It's ironic that he's looking at anti-war protesters, and calling their actions ironic!
But, by far, the best incident (to me) was the comment from the cab driver who drove him to Jordan:" Don't you listen to Powell on The Voice of America?" This cab driver made it a point to be informed on a viewpoint from outside his country. All these idealistic establishment-haters didn't even try.
At any rate, I'm delighted he has come to his senses. Perhaps his words will penetrate some of his ilk as none of us can.
Thanks, Mad. Your posts have now become MUST reads!

He seemed convinced that civilian casualties would be small; he had such enormous faith in the American war machine to follow through on its promises. Certainly more faith than any of us had. Thank you, thank you.
I needed to read this after just seeing on another thread someone tell of how ABC is trying to imply the pro-Iraqi response we read of in Safwan may have been staged. It clearly was not.
I keep repeating how having the embedded reporters was brilliant. It's going to turn out to be absolutely vital to the state of the record.

I am LOVING your posts MadIvan!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a sister who lives in London. She is extremely liberal and very anti-war. She went to the protests in London. I am sending her the articles you are posting here. Again... thank you!

I too saw that report.
I used to think CBS was the most anti-American network. Not anymore.
ABC and Jennings are BY FAR the worst. I started hating Jennings back in 1994 when, after the Republican landslide elections, Jennings said that the American people had "thrown a tantrum".
Check out this report on the bias of ABC
