Yep, nothing quite like feeding your extra wild-eyed crazies into the US Military Meat-Grinder. Why kill your own people when you can have Uncle Sam do it for you?
I always thought that this was why we got away so easy in Gulf War I. Saddam wanted his conscript army dead even more than we did. So he lined them up like bowling pins in the desert, and we knocked them down. But we never took anything from him that he didn't want to give away.
It won't be so easy this time.
