Also he used the wrong tense about the taking of Basra; he used the future tense.

FREEPERS - LINK TO PORTIONS OF THE POW INTERVIEW NOT SHOWN ON AMERICAN TV.
This is brought to you by the First Amendment of the US Constitution and the fact that
if shown by the media, the American public would choose to retaliate against Iraq.
Americans are humane to POWs unlike the Evil Iraqis.
After a weekend of angst and anger, this pic brought it all back in perspective. We are facing an evil that rivals anything known before, but we will not let our anger guide our actions. I am so proud of our troops.

[A 3 year-old] sits underneath the oak tree in front of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N.C., Friday, March 21, 2003, following a ribbon tying ceremony. [The boy's] father, Staff Sgt. [*name omitted], is deployed overseas with the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. Smittle is holding a sign that reads: "My Daddy is a Hero."
* [I don't like seeing names posted on the internet ..... especially in association with the families awaiting their heroes back home ... so I have omitted both the boy's name and his father's.]
