I guess Al Sharpton's campaign really is scaring the democrats! Looks like they are trying to bring back Algore.

Almost worth encouraging. Sharpton(I) and Gore(D) against Bush(R)* would be fun.

Yeah...the website says...America needs Algore...(like a hole in the head).

Last time around, I kicked a little donation to the Ralph Nader campaign when it looked like he might be pulling out. I included a drippy letter of encouragement, telling him to tough it out and go the distance because his participation in the campaign was far too important, "to people like me throughout America." I'd like to think it had it's effect.
I just may have to throw a little money Sharpton's way if it looks like his campaign is stumbling.

It WOULD be fun! About how much damage would Big Al do to the Dems come election day 2004, assuming he runs as an independent?
To: journey7873
If Al did run again...I don't think I could take all the sweat.

I'd LOVE to see a rematch. I was thinking earlier today about that dismissive nod our President gave to algore when he tried to play alpha male.
LOL - what a moment in history!
Speaking of history, buddah bore would become the first candidate to win the popular vote, lose the electoral vote, and subsequently lose both in a landslide!
Go for it algore! I still have my saffron robe - have robe, will FReep!

Are the DemocRATS really sure they
want to draft Gore
To: journey7873
I am curious how one can get a signed copy of "joined at the heart" from this site.
Perhaps the Goron has arranged his own draft movement in addition to buying copies of his own book. Now that would be a funny.....in a pathetic way.

I remember Al Gore charging bush. I thought Gore had gone nuts. But later I heard that it was part of the Alpha man act. Still, Gore is a nut case.

I always said that Al Gore dropping out of the race was a ruse to allow Joe Lieberman to enter the race without breaking his vow not to if Al Gore ran.
The plan: 1) Gore drops out. 2) Lieberman gets in. 3) Gore "coaxed" back in at a later date ("aw, shucks, I didn't want to, but if you really need me to...").

Al's an opportunist. He can be bought. All the Democrats have to do is promise him a cabinet position or some such thing. Don't think they wouldn't give it to him, either. Nothing is beyond those criminals.
