Exactly! He appointed people who he knew would protect him. But ... because he did that - he thinks that's what Bush will do too - and I believe that's a part of why the dems are so set against Bush getting any of his court appointees. Plus, x42 doesn't want to go before any of Bush's appointees - because they will follow the Constitution and not wishy-washy with the law.
