my hope, IF possible, was that we could fly over all the ground impediments from some point beyond the problems faced by shipping by water and overland...practically though, would probably have been done already if not for some impracticality of which I am not aware...we can only do our best to help these people and are almost surely doing that...

Surely we can fly in from Kuwait. That is not a mined port, I'm sure. I'll have to check my maps now to figure this out.
