March 29, 2003 -- U.S. warplanes continued their assault on the Iraqi leadership yesterday, blowing away the Baghdad headquarters of Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath Party with Tomahawk missiles.
The precision strike took place shortly after the United States unleashed two monster 4,700-pound bunker-buster bombs on a communications site inside the Iraqi capital.

OK...now for my rant...
kattracks post here, along with just seeing (as the Col.David Christian ,who is a military regular guest on FNC, calls him "Baghdad Bob",)the Iraqi dis-information minister "go off" again with so many lies, it would render a new lie detector inkless almost imediately.
Boy....if there is any one who reads my idea that I'm gonna post here, and thinks it's worth passing it on to someone who could maybe make it happen,(if they think it's worth a try,) this could possibly help in the "war of words" that we need help with so badly. Here's my humble idea....
Starting ASAP,no Iraqi spokesman lives to speak two consecutive days to spew the Iraqi line.By this I mean, if "Baghdad Bob" is the daily propaganda spokesman for 3-29-2003,he is not alive for the 3-30-2003 broadcast.A Barrett .50cal rifle,(with ALL the toys,)head shot,a car bomb, a cruise missle, a predator hellfire missle, whatever it takes to make sure that a new spokesperson has to give the Iraqi propaganda line EVERY DAY. If it was possible, JUST the person who gave the news conference would be "eliminated". That would IMHO , produce the best and desired results. You don't have to hit the transmitter, antenna's,the building where the broadcast originated from. Those actions are being used against us, because within 24hrs,"Baghdad Bob" is showing the damage to the arab world that the "criminal Bush and criminal Blair have brought upon the poor Iraqi people, along with however many babies, and old women our missle killed trying to take their( so far exceeding greatly beyond the Iraqi's wildest 72 virgin dream,)daily arab WORLD propaganda machine....
By removing JUST the spokesman of the day for the propaganda, there is no collateral damage to be used against us in the NEXT broadcast.People attending,or watching the event on a daily basis, would start to ask about"Baghdad Bob", his "fans" asking where he is etc.Do you think they would like to relate to the WORLD,...uh...He was killed with a single headshot,in Saddam's and Iraq's capitol city, where Saddam is "in charge" and has the whole city "safe and protected???
Maybe "Baghdad Bob" will have had an accident and died...and they will use this as his cause of death...or "plant" him in one of those many "Market bombings to try to blame us.But I'll bet Bob's replacement will know what actually happened. And when Bob's replacement doesn't make it to HIS second appearance, the 3rd guy is gonna maybe be a little worried, and when the 4th and especially the 5th guy realize that Saddam and his cronies are REALLY not in control of things,do you think the line is going to be very long for the "new" daily disinformation job??
It would also make the people who are Bob's "bosses", who would have to keep finding folks to fill Bob's position on a DAILY basis , very nervous. If they get so nervous that THEIR movements come to a halt for fear of their safety outside of where the broadcasts are held, that makes taking out the whole bunch who are grouped there "market collateral damage".I have already noticed that today's broadcast had a different "backdrop"(no Saddam photo,no flag,)and I counted only 9 microphones at the podium. If you have access to one of Bob's broadcast's from say 3-4 days ago, there were probably twice that number, and thanks to some wonderful folks, who came to Baghdad all the way from Kansas, who made some "structural changes to the facilities" ,the numbers of reporters attending this daily circus are diminishing every day.
OK..thanks for letting me vent.IMHO,my "plan" might be worth a try,and since Tommy and Don are kinda busy,I though I'd share it here.....Thanks
