It's sad and telling really when you look at casualty lists, see the names of immigrants(legal, mind you or they cannot enlist), then try to find a casualty from an eastern Ivy League school.
To: NormsRevenge
The ultimate sacrifice. May Iraq be quickly freed to honor his death. Sniff.

when you look at casualty lists, see the names of immigrants(legal, mind you or they cannot enlist), then try to find a casualty from an eastern Ivy League school. I was thinking the same thing - these immigrants have a greater appreciation of Liberty ... There was a TV news segment a few weeks ago about an Iraqi kid who was a refugee in Iraq in '91. He was to be the first Marine in his unit to enter Iraq, and he wanted to personnlly take out Saddam ...

Look at that Prof. DeGenova at Columbia stating publicly that he wished that many Americans would die. He simply said what most of the others think in those despicable and sick institutions.

Saint Peter he will tell,
'Another Marine reporting, Sir,
I've done my time in Hell.'"
Rest in peace Gunnery Sergeant Joe Menusa.

Telling of what, that the immigrants from possibly a lower economic group feels more patriotic than wealthier eastern college kids. Actually, I think that what it tells is that the kids that don't have career connections through their families, see the armed forces as an honorable opportunity to to have a career doing something that they enjoy.
