========= Baghdad =========

In Baghdad, Iraq, after Iraq's refusal to disarm.
More shock and awe incrementally applied and another strike on the Baaath
Communication center.

In Baghdad, smoke billowing from Saddams' burning oil trenches
covers the presidential palace as was Saddams planned war crime.

In Baghdad, Iraq, at the market downtown.

In Baghdad, at the Information Ministry.

ANOTHER POTHOLE ALERT

In Baghdad, Iraq, at the al-Naser market in the Shuwaila area of Baghdad
where Saddam's forces used their own munitions and poorly-fired missiles
to murder non-Tikrit Iraqis so as to thereafter falsely blame their deaths
caused by Iraqi treachery on the Coalition.

Near Baghdad, non-Tikritis murdered by Saddam for his propaganda
prepare to bury their families but must wait for Saddams' forces to arrive for his
propaganda film.
Saddam's forces murder additional hundreds
each day to "motivate" non-Tikrit Iraqis. It has been their way.

In Baghdad, Journalists getting their information from Iraqi TV.

DUCT TAPE ALERT

In Baghdad, the postcard of Saddam Hussein taped to the window of the bus used by the press.

========= Iraqi television =========

Iraqi TV shows a captured allied tank, taken with Russian antitank 'technology,
given after OK by Putin himself. The countries of Earth have divided themselves

In Basra, the parents of this suddenly Fedayeen-orphaned Iraqi child
were taken out by Saddam's thugs.

In Basra, this child was alone in the Exodus at Basra and helped to Freedom by a courageous gallant hero.

In Basra, FREED Iraqis. Will the media thank the Coalition? I doubt it.

who have only known murder, rape and beatings by Saddam.

as Saddam's influence is removed from this part of the "island".

REPORT FROM ELSEWHERE

Great pictures ... thanks.

Don't you just love the picture of the M1A1 that was captered by photoshop ... I assmue it wasn't a frontal assault.

Should have at least added some burn marks and tossed some dust on the 'insert reporter here'.

Does anyone think we leave tanks laying around? ... like we do apache helicopters.

You're welcome. Nice to see you this morning.

What is wrong with the media?
They cover mainly --or only-- defeatist talkers and antiwar rallies.

The Iraqia are a very different people from the Palestinians, obviously. Only with a gun at their heads or threats to the lives of their children will they attack those who want to help them.

The photos of the orphaned children are heartbreaking. The American soldiers are the best human beings on the face of the earth.

Dio, this thread is a tour de force. Thank you. God bless and keep safe our wonderful American troops and our President.

IMHO ... Other than the normal blame America first crowd, this time the media hates Bush so much it blinds them completely. The Dumpocraps are toast if the war goes well, and they know it. So the media has to make it sound like we won, but it was real close. The administration almost blew it, but the troops pulled us through.

BTW look at the market picture. Looks like amplified TV antennas are the big thing going in Baghdad. Local reception must be spotty.

Thanks for these threads, Dio. I know HTML and I know how time consuming something like this is. I have recruited about a dozen people to Free Republic with these resources. We're seeing pictures that we won't see in any of the mainstream media sources. Your "Gotta' See This" threads are a priority for me every time you put one up!

God bless our troops overseas who are generating the content of your work!

I don't see how these people can hate President Bush more than I hated Clinton. I had nothing but the greatest support for our troops even under Clinton's misdirection and NEVER would have made derogatory remarks about them or their actions. I also would have NEVER attended an anit-America rally.

I just don't get it.

Paratroopers patrol the skies and are able to drop a platoon of men onto the road or desert track ahead of a car to facilitate the random stops.
