In doing some research on other topics, I was alarmed to see just how much information etc for lesson plans on other educational material was coming from the news media of all places.
There was a time when I thought the TV in the classroom for piping in info & lessons was a good thing. I don't think so anymore.
Of course, since textbooks are now filling up with revisionist history, they aren't much better than the TV.

I know parents in Texas are fighting, not only to remove errors in text books, but to balance the very LIBERAL bent filling those pages. The publishing industry is so very, very LIBERAL.
