To: Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. This is a petition asking Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. to please refrain from honoring any other petitions that threaten their customers rights, as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. As you read this, Michael Moore, the "Director of Bowling for Columbine", has started a petition in hopes of getting Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. to stop selling handgun ammunition. He has titled his petition Wal-Mart is "Nothing Without Its Customers".
The title of this petition is "Wal-Mart is Everything , Because of its Customers".
Sincerely,

I hope Walmart does stop selling ammo and let small gun shops sell it. One day Walmart will put many of these shops out of business. When that day happens, gun control folks need to concentrate on one target to eliminate ammo sale in the US.

In case Wallmart cares, ammo is the main reason I visit the store, occassionally purchasing additional items. If Wallmart stops selling ammo, I'll shop at Target more often.

Michael Moore, meat puppet. Even this is not his personal idea. Once the alien life forces that inhabit Michael's body have fled back to whatever dimension from whence they came, the dazed and rather corpulent Michael will be asking, "Where am I, and how did I get here?" No one will be able to answer that question, as the path is much too convoluted.

Wonder how many Michael Moore types, have ever been in Wal Mart? WalMart sells food, doesn't it?
To: JudgemAll
The solution is to go by MORE ammo.

Go to the petition and look at the signatures....Pick any group at random....I did it and it looked like there were more pro ammo people than anti. This petition has backfired on the fat loser Moore IMHO>
To: JudgemAll
No problem. I'll just make an extra special trip this afternoon and buy some more. Anything that fat pig says, I'll just do the opposite of.

Thought the Wal-Marts were beyond and beneath Moore's recognition since Moore's brush with fame (sarcasm).

One signer listed name as Michael Moore and left this message:
I am so sick of having to stand in the checkout line with people buying ammunition. But Walmart is the only place that sells underwear big enough for my fat ass!

Yeah, I can tell by the size of the checks my wife writes there. But, they are so middle-class American that trash like mikey and the rest of the left wouldn't be caught there.

When that day happens, gun control folks need to concentrate on one target to eliminate ammo sale in the US.How many serious shooters do you see buying guns and ammo at Walmart? Not very many. Sure, if I want a 10/22, a surplus Moisin Nagant or a cheap brick of .22lr I might go there, but not for any serious shopping. When I buy a decent rifle, shotgun or handgun I either go to a gun store or order from one. Almost everyone else does too, and the reason why is because Walmart carries cheap entry level products. You won't find names like Springfield Armory, DSA, Volquartsen or Kimber in a Walmart.
Walmart only poses a threat to retailers that deal in low end products.

True, Eley 10X is not found on the shelves of Wal-Mart, but they do have the best price on 35 Remington that I've seen.

Why does anything Michael Moore says receive news coverage?

You'll know when one has been there by the empty bakery section; there won't be a cake, cookie or doughnut around for miles.

If I am not mistaken, didn't K-Mart bow to the fat ass Rosie and quit selling ammo/guns? I think that was the final nail in the coffin for them.

Wasn't Sam Walton a keen bird hunter?
I don't think he'd be happy if Wal-Mart folded, under pressure from a maggot like Moore.
To: JudgemAll
They could close the whole store without bothering me. I refuse to shop at stores that support China.

I was thinking of buying some Wal-Mart "ammo." And I don't even have a gun!!!!!!!!!!! Well GET ONE!
To: Tijeras_Slim
Well GET ONE! And buy an extra box of ammo! Thanks to the left and the likes of the Brady Bunch I always buy extra ammo. Since one never knows when they may try to end ammo sales.
To: Fee
I hope Walmart does stop selling ammo and let small gun shops sell it. The only place I buy ammo is at the gunshop where I bought my pistols and rifles. Where they know me and always want to talk guns, fishing, chainsaws, and alcohol. All required for fun in Idaho.

Sure, if I want a 10/22, a surplus Moisin Nagant or a cheap brick of .22lr I don't think you'll find any surplus firearms at Wally World. Think of it this way though. If somebuys a "cheap low end gun" (Like a Ruger rifle or a Remington shotgun??) They become a gun owner, one of us. If they had to go to those dens of inequity known as "gun shops" they might never take the plunge. Also think of all the "soccer moms" who pass by the sporting goods department, without ever being attacked by one of the guns or all that not even locked up ammunition(Well the shotgun shells anyway). It's bound to have an "innoculation" effect against the lies and scare tactics of the gun grabbers and hoplophobes.

Obviously you have never gone and taken a look at the 34,000 signatures on the petition.
This thing has been Freeped, and Freeped good. It is worth less than Michael Moore's Oscar.

Wal-Mart does have good brands of ammunition at good prices. It is about the only made in USA stuff they sell there. No hi-speed, exotic type ammo but I have not been able to find better prices for 22, 9mm and .38 SPC. I buy my .45 and .40 at the gun shop, though.
To: elmer fudd
"When I buy a decent rifle, shotgun or handgun I either go to a gun store or order from one. Almost everyone else does too..."HUH? Excuse me...but I know of dang FEW folks who still buy firearms from retail gun stores. I own at least a dozen handguns and a dozen or so rifles and shotguns and not a SINGLE one was purchased from a retail location. Ever hear the term "gun show?" Yeah...most sellers at the shows also have retail locations, but the prices aren't the same by a.........ahem....long shot!
