Darn, just found out we have make-up soccer games this week-end. Wanted to hear the G-Man. When he gets on a roll, there is none better.
Best of luck to all Freepers in DC for this event.

Thanks for the great thread-it hits the money before my mouth doesn't.
FREEpers, UNITE! D.C. chapter is co-sponsoring this event. Maryland FREEpers, get your kiesters out there and celebrate our troops, Operation Iraqui Freedom, and our Commander-In-Chief! The mainstream press is going to play this down like a burnt biscuit. Let's give 'em a ROAR they won't soon forget.
Drag along friends, neighbors, kids, pets, EVERYone you can find. This is a great opportunity to let the great unwashed know that the majority of America is behind this effort, and behind our President.
I'll be there, F&N, with my kids and my father-in-law. I'll be wearing a brown leather cowboy hat, and I'll have
'FREEPers, Unite!
www.freerepublic.com
Shotgun Willie
Peoples Republic of Maryland, Calvert County'
pasted on me in red, white, and blue.
Show up! It'll be a blast! I've never done a rally before, so I'm REALLY looking forward to this one!

The Washington TImes had this article today about Saturday's happenings in DC
Rallies against, for war plannedThe Iraqi people will be no better off with Saddam Hussein out of power, one antiwar organizer said yesterday as groups for and against the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq prepare to stage rallies downtown at the same time on Saturday.
"Saddam kept power by secret police, torture and murder. Imagine what a U.S. occupation might look like," said Jason Kafoury, a spokesman for the group United for Peace and Justice. "For Saddam to keep power, he had to brutalize his own people. Now it's our job to keep peace, and we might have to do it through very brutal means."
Mr. Kafoury said the Iraqi populace has not accepted coalition armed forces as liberators, and will revolt unless they are suppressed by force.
Thought we could all use a laugh. See you Saturday.

I was going to post it as a separate article but the Left has received major body blows today. I sure more opportunities will be available tomorrow as little Tommy D is saddamed and deeply disjointed.

"For Saddam to keep power, he had to brutalize his own people. Now it's our job to keep peace, and we might have to do it through very brutal means." I don't know what the proper term is, but the arrogance of the left is so amazing. See how they belittle the intelligence of the Iraqis. The Iraqis are not animals that need to be penned up in order to be kept in line. Once they see how freedom works, they'll find the solution that best operates in their country.

I was just wondering. With the events of today with the Sadam statue coming down and all, what effect this will have on the a.n.s.w.e.r group to protest this week-end in D.C.?
I mean to say, that war is NOT over. There are many battles to be won. But the outcome is evident.
What are these bloodsuckers going to protest now?
For what its worth, I have noticed at the answer post, the busses are getting less and less support. They are having a major problem with people coming to DC this week.
