In Cairo, Egypt, the news made some more determined to join other Arabs who have gone into Iraq for jihad, or holy war, alongside Iraqis.
Please do. In a battle between an Abrams Tank and a rag head with a pipe bomb strapped to his belly, I like the Abrams' odds.
We could solve two problems at once here.

Come on, Peter Benedict Arnet, Scott Pedophile Ritter, and Baghdad Bob all told me the US is on the verge of losing this war......

Amjad Mohammed, a 23-year-old Syrian hairdresser, said he feels "very sad".Er, I thought that was Tom Daschle's domain...to be saddened.

As with all dysfuntional people, nations, or cultures in this broader sense, they are living the Big Lie. When one lives the Big Lie, the truth comes very hard indeed.

"The Americans can never stay in Baghdad," said Mohammed. "Baghdad is noble Arab land."
Look out your window, dipstick.

"How can we know this is for real and not just coalition propaganda?" al-Bawardi, 30, said. Please go up there and join the iraqi army and see for yourself.
"We had hoped Saddam would inflict as many casualties on the invaders as possible to teach them a lesson and make them think twice before striking another Arab country."
Perhaps all arabs will think twice before flying another airplane into an American building.

"The Americans can never stay in Baghdad," said Mohammed. Nor do we either want to or intend to.

Why is there no evidence that they treated it as noble ground? Watching these clowns is like watching a bad WWF match. With the UN playing the blind stupid ref.
Holograms and Noise Bombs. That's all it is.

The Arab world is completely ignorant of exactly how powerful the US is... they have never been able to beat a modern western army, hell the tiny country of Israel kicked their butts repeatatively.
Arabs are learning just how pathetic they are militarily once again... the self dillusion is going to end.

With the UN playing the blind stupid ref. The UN seems to have a problem these days.
I just can't figure out why we are now spending $600,000 to remodel our UN ambassador's kitchen at the Waldolf-Astoria hotel. That seems a bit excessive to me. I would rather see them hiring a U-Haul truck.

The Arab world is completely ignorant of exactly how powerful the US is... they have never been able to beat a modern western army, hell the tiny country of Israel kicked their butts repeatatively. Can you imagine the "shock and awe" that would result if had completely taken the gloves against Iraq? It took Iran 8 years to achieve a stalemate with Iraq.
And every time the Arabs try to "push Israel into the sea," Israel's borders get bigger, and the Arabs whine and beg for them [the Israelis] to give the land back.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- In an apparent show of defiance, Iraq's Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf stood in the streets of Baghdad Monday morning amid a U.S. raid on the capital, issuing denials of coalition advances.

the self dillusion is going to end.I've always said the war against Saddam is the war against terrorism.
Why?
Because we're going to strip these Arabs of their perverse and demented belief that Allah, Saddam, bin Laden, or anyone else can protect them after they've attacked innocent civilians in a Western democracy.
It's also great that the Arabs are waking up and now "in turmoil." The core strategy in GWB's war against terrorism is too shake these people up, and to demonstrate beyond argument that they're been gorging themselves on delusion and lies from their Islamist mullahs.
They are being shamed beyond measure.
First the Taliban, the "true practitioners of Islam," then Saddam, the number-one Arab strongman.
Maybe they'll now start wondering why they place such fervent hope in demented and diabolical, Class A losers.

It's time we understand the Arab mindset and make sure that non-Arabs have more control over the Middle East, much of the problem is that it's Arab dominated and they are a crazy people. I first heard how weird they were from Iranians ---who can be weird also but not nearly as bad.
