the same could be said about the right. Pro-life, but pro-death penalty. Pot, kettle, black!

True, but there is a logical consistency to our position. Those who have committed the very worst crimes imaginable can possibly have their right to life taken by the force of government (through numerous trials spread out over many years, requiring unanimous juries and judges, and adhering to strict judicial principles). Those who have done nothing wrong deserve to live, and should not have that right subject to revocation at the pure whim of a solitary person.

The Left cannot justify adherence to the opposite stances with any semblance of reason or legal principles. There IS a difference.
